This month we talk about our experiences at the Beyond the Gates festival. We also hear from some of our other Grove members, both old and new, about their own experiences at the festival, including Mama Gaea, without whom this festival would not have existed, and one of our newest members Coatney.
After that, listen to Arin’s interview with Phaedra Bonewits. It was such a blast, and an honor, to get to meet to Phaedra, to talk to her about her history in paganism, her theatrical take on ritual, and her relationship with Isaac. Of course, we could only capture a small fragment of time with Phaedra to bring to our listeners, but we hope that you enjoy it just as much as we did.
Our music this month is:
From S.J. Tucker, “Hymn to Herme”
From Kellianna “Stonehenge”
If you are a pagan artist and would like us to play your music, please e-mail us!
Check out Phaedra’s book “Real Energy”
The Wild Hunt blog can be found here.
A full version of what we wrote for the Wild Hunt can be found on our grove’s tumblr here.
Thank you for listening, and stay tuned for a recap of Lughnasadh, coming later this month, and next month we start talking about one of the four Hearth Cultures that Columbia Grove honors, as well as providing more interviews from Beyond the Gates.
And remember, you can find us on iTunes and Stitcher, and you can follow us on Facebook.
