Part the Mist Podcast

This is Part the Mist, a podcast hosted by a couple of Druids. Arin and Jonathan are members of Columbia Grove, ADF in Portland, Oregon. They talk about a variety of topics that relate to Druidism and Druidry, including ancestor veneration, nature veneration, reciprocity, ethical behavior at public rituals, and various Hearth Cultures, among a variety of other topics, and they interview other Druids about their experiences and specialties. The show wraps up with a calendar of pagan events in the Pacific Northwest, and a musical piece. Intro music is “Gatekeeper Open the Portals” sung by Kirk Thomas. Aug 1, 2016

This month we talk about our experiences at the Beyond the Gates festival. We also hear from some of our other Grove members, both old and new, about their own experiences at the festival, including Mama Gaea, without whom this festival would not have existed, and one of our newest members Coatney.

After that, listen to Arin’s interview with Phaedra Bonewits. It was such a blast, and an honor, to get to meet to Phaedra, to talk to her about her history in paganism, her theatrical take on ritual, and her relationship with Isaac. Of course, we could only capture a small fragment of time with Phaedra to bring to our listeners, but we hope that you enjoy it just as much as we did.

Our music this month is:

From S.J. Tucker, “Hymn to Herme”

From Kellianna “Stonehenge”

If you are a pagan artist and would like us to play your music, please e-mail us!
