Hey there listeners, and Blessed belated Beltane!

We’ve got another excellent episode in store. This month I spoke with Crystal Groves, a Grove Organizer, Festival Organizer, and current Secretary of ADF. We talk about her involvement with ADF, and her involvement with ADF’s April camping festival, Trillium. And of course we talk to her about what the Secretary of ADF does, her involvement with the Mother Grove, (and a bit more of what the Mother Grove does), and the importance of voting in ADF elections! You can e-mail Crystal at adf-secretary@adf.org for the duration of her term as Secretary, or at  crystal.groves.adf@gmail.com following her term. And you can find her on Facebook, as Crystal Groves.

Our song today will be “Sons and Daughters (Of Robin Hood)” by Damh the Bard, one of my personal faves. And if you’re interested in purchasing Damh’s songs, or the songbooks so you can play the music too, then head over to www.paganmusic.co.uk

And we wrapped things up with “From the Archives” with Kirk Thomas, featuring “The Secret is in the Smoke.”

That’s it for May, see you next month, friends and listeners!

Ep. 14: An interview with the Author of “A Book of Pagan Prayers”

This month Arin gets to talk with David, more commonly known by his nom de plume “Ceisiwr Serith.” David has written about Paganism for many years. There’s just so little time to cover so much, and many topics are covered in this conversation, like his background in paganism, what inspires him to write, and his studies into Proto Indo-European culture. We even talk about what a Proto Indo-European ritual looks like with his Grove Nemos Ognios, (http://www.nemosognios.org/).

You can visit David’s website at http://www.ceisiwrserith.com/index.htm, and click on his “Contact me” link if you want to reach out to him. I encourage you to explore the website, it’s a treasure trove of information!

We also hear from Melissa Hill, talking about her experience at the PanPagan festival ConVocation. And Kirk Thomas joins us once again with From the Archive, reading “Brigid and the Cailleach” by Ferin Wolfsdaughter from issue #44.

Our music this episode was: Damh the Bard - Spirit Of Albion

Hey! It’s Arin and Jonathan again, with another episode of Part the Mist, from rainy Portland Oregon! This time we’re bringing you an episode on the ADF Dedicant Path. Jonathan was unable to record with us this time, so Arin’s gotten together with the Grove’s own Spider Faerie Queen, Amber, and ADF’s Michael J. Dangler. Amber leads the Grove’s Dedicant Study group, which revolves around a study guide written by Michael Dangler. We talk about the requirements, the proctors, and the difference between a “path” and a “program”. We each give our own insights into what it’s been like walking the Dedicant Path, and our hopes for the future of ADF studies!

Later in the show is Kirk Thomas’ first installment of “From the Archive” reading articles from previous editions of Oak Leaves.

If you’re interested in reaching out to Spider, e-mail columbiaadf@gmail.com, or ptmpod@gmail.com, and we’ll forward your message to her!

You can find Michael at chronarchy.com. Check out his website, www.magicaldruid.com. And find information about the Three Cranes Grove, ADF, at www.threecranes.org.

Our music for this episode was: Blodeuwedd by Damh The Bard
